I can dnping, dnetinfo, and dnlogin. I was able to completely unbind IPv4 and IPv6 and do things via DECnet (Phase IV).

I’ve managed to get DECnet working in Ubuntu 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. 9, 10, and 11 work with everything I know how to test. 12, 13, and 14 partially work. (dnlogin gets PTS / PTY errors.) 14 kernel panics when it pings itself, but other sources seem okay.

Will you write a longer article about it?

I suppose I can throw some notes together to help others scratch their head less.
