    Another fun fact apparently C. S. Lewis made the term "Parliament of Owls" famous by using it as a chapter title in Chronicles of Narnia, it's likely a play on words from Chaucer's "Parliament of Foules" poem.

    Happy day! One quick fact, apparently since adult owls are solitary it's almost impossible to see a group of owls together (owlettes yes you can...) So there isn't much chance of seeing a Parliament of Owls

    Today's honoree for is Dr. Edward Bouchet. Dr. Bouchet was the first African American to earn a Ph.D. in physics from any American University. He has established a legacy of excellence for all African American physicists.
