He’s nodding. He knows.

He’s agreeing and even gives the thumbs up when he was told that he doesn’t belong up there. I hope his entire family was there!

My favorite bit of bullshit is “It’s a personal matter.” Because the actions of a police officer are personal choices and should never be questioned, right?

The commissioner is a citizen and this is public matter, commissioner was correct in seeking full transparency, in public.

Anyone else notice that in the aftermath, all the focus was on how the commissioner handled this situation and there was no concern about the crooked cop?

They are more upset the cop got called than they are over the fact that the cop falsely arrested someone... white supremacy at its best

Public servant confronted in a public forum. Where is the problem. Oh he's black. Now I get why they are appalled he would bring this up when they are attempting to praise the individual.

Wow! Just as suave as he could be, he politely n calmly let everyone in attendance including the aggressor, know who, what, where and when!! No yelling, curse words, but w/clarity!! Talk about shading someone!!!

I’m sorry this happened to him, but this was clearly not the place. He lowered himself to the cop’s level. There are appropriate channels to follow and if this happened 4 years ago he had ample time to address.
