This reporting will no doubt fuel more conspiracy theories, but guards not making checks and falsifying records is shockingly familiar. This is how people die in jails and prisons all the time.https://nyti.ms/2OTvF96

Literally the only difference is that their deaths don’t get reported in @nytimes. And AG Bill Barr and members of the US Congress are not jumping up and down demanding their deaths be investigated and vowing that the people whose actions led to their deaths be held accountable.

There is an epidemic of understaffing, bloated budgets because of forced overtime and overcrowding in the jails. Is the US ready for this conversation or will conspiracy theories be easier to talk about? Poor people die in jail ALL THE TIME. But not many billionaires do.

Jails, hospitals, factories, residential treatment facilities, every restaurant bathroom, ever. Karen is not checking that ladies room every half hour.

"Conspiracy theory? It's called "speculation" and "theorizing" and if you believe that the most important prisoner in the world died because of 'staffing issues'.
