Outrageous is definitely the right adjective!

Glad to hear you & your wife weren't buying it! The US needs more parents like that. Your write up should help.

" It may hence be acceptable to allow male circumcision while banning female mutilation." No, any kind of circumcision is mutilation and should be banned.
-
You mean that male circumcision should be banned even for men who decide as adults that they want to be circumcised?
-
I disagree with circumcision for cosmetic and religious reason performed at any age. It is disrespect against the natural body. However, the real problem is infant circumcision without consent of the child. BTW I really considered a cosmetic circumcision for me, which was stupid
-
There is just one reason justifying circumcision, which is a severe case of phimosis.

I think this article cud have been fair if it were not biased. If removal of foreskin in males is MC male circumcision then why is the same procedure not FC female circumcision but is called mutilation. N forget removal of prepuce what if only a nick?

Mutilation not Circumcision .... Genital Cutting, it is what it is.

You are right to be sceptical of claims for male genital cutting, but need to be much more sceptical of everything Brian Morris writes. His claim of >50% cut in the 19th century is absurd. http://circumstitions.com/morris.html

Robert, we need a CIRCUMCISION BAN, PUNISHMENT FOR THE PERPETRATORS, and MASSIVE government funding for tissue regeneration to regenerate our foreskins and make our bodies whole again! Watch my channel trailer in my Twitter bio where I explain how we might make this happen!
-
We shouldn’t criticise boys and men that had this done to them without their adult permission, it’s not their fault and we shouldn’t make them feel like less of a man for not having their foreskin
-
Why do you think I am trying to get tissue regeneration available for them? Because I care about the victims.
-
I understand that and I applaude your ingenuity for trying to help the gentlemen involved. However I believe if we stop this practice and support them and not make them feel “less of a man” by needing “to fix them” could be the best way forward IMO
-
I just want options to become available. And foreskin regeneration options being available increases people's likelihood of turning against circumcision, like a psychological escape hatch.
-
However we run the risk of parents saying “well if they aren’t happy about it they can have it replaced later” but I like where you thinking
