    ALL networks should proactively make plain that claiming to win an election doesn’t make it so. Doing less than this risks complicity with forces intended to illegitimate our democracy.

    Hey guys, please ignore this type of garbage. The truth is that elections are never decided on election night. In Utah (and most states) it takes 2 weeks to finalize counting and certify results. It really doesn’t matter who is ahead on election night, it only matters when...1/

    No one has won before they count all the ballots. If you haven’t counted all the ballots yet, the election is not over yet. Someone make sure news anchors repeat this in front of a mirror 100 times each hour until November 3.

    I voted for Joe Biden. He wasn't my ideal choice. But I did it. I don't think it will fix things if he wins. People make change, not politicians. But if we have to choose to walk towards the world we want to live in through quicksand or on asphalt, I know my choice.

    Some facts about this Harris County drive thru voting suit: 1. The TX Sec of State approved Harris County doing this months ago. 2. It‘s been publicly posted for months that Harris County would have this. 3. The plaintiffs waited until after votes were cast to challenge it.

    Americans are understandably preoccupied right now. But a typhoon with winds gusting to 235 mph is now crashing into the Philippines--possibly the strongest storm ever to make landfall on earth. If you pray, now would be a good time

    Super Typhoon Goni is about to slam into the Phillippines as about as strong of a storm as the planet can produce If it landfalls at its current strength (195 mph with gusts to 235 mph!!) it will be the most powerful tropical cyclone on record to make landfall in world history

    If we don't fund public health research... This is just stupid. Our feckless ignoring of public health is literally killing us.

    I'm going to re-up this story from again, in case people haven't seen it. This is the plight of one of the nation's top public health schools in the midst of a pandemic at one of the richest universities in the world. 1/
