If scientists and health professionals don’t use our skills, expertise, & voices to shape the political conversation, we may be looking at 4 more years of irreparable damage. It’s time to volunteer, donate, and vote like our lives depend on it. 2/3
It’s also time to examine why we have so few scientists, public health experts, doctors & nurses in elected politics. I reflect on my Congressional run in #MA04 to provide some insights. Campaign finance reform & ranked-choice voting could help, that’s why I will vote #YesOn2 3/3

Germany has at least one epidemiologist in office in the Parlament and even there science was in trouble.
Every country made mistakes and has deniers. It's a worldwide phenomenon. Nevertheless, Germany did better.
