Is it just me, or are ancient historians wildly over represented in Classics public outreach efforts? It seems like looking at projects like @AncientWorldMag or @AncientSave that ancient historians are present to a far greater degree than our proportion in the field?

for Classics at large, but quickly turned into navel gazing for people already in the field. You do find some "high brow" out reach, say Daniel Mendelsohn in the New Yorker, but the market for Classical lit. is certainly narrower.
