FAQ:
1) why is this happening in January?
This is the first time we have offered a position like this. We wanted to advertise mid-late last year but approval took ages
2) who can apply?
RANZCR trainees and fellows, after 5th year and post-exams. No O/S folks this year (sorry!)
3) what is a mixed clinical and AI position? We intend to train practicing radiologists, so you would do 3 days of advanced clinical work per week and have 2 days protected for research and learning. 4) on-call? Yes, you would be on the senior registrar on-call roster.
Since it is so late, we really need to find people who might be interested and available. If you know anyone, please share this with them! Any questions, ask away. This is the first such position in Australia AFAIK, and despite the late start we are invested in making it work.
