New study shows that covid school closures affected cognitive and motor development in preschoolers. Learning loss is most pronounced in kids most at risk. We must focus on keeping kids in school and on closing educational disparities. @biannagolodryga https://srcd.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/cdev.13738 …pic.twitter.com/mVhJTWGbmI

Again I ask, why can’t @cnn find a PEDIATRICIAN when they want to talk about health issues that specifically revolve around young children???

Doc Wen is misleading. Most kids flourished online- kids are simply running around school getting in trouble. At home the focus was login and complete assignments- now kids have social distractions—- Doc never show her stats

So like have kids keep wearing masks right? Since their vaccinations rates are ⬇️ and we want to keep schools open. 🙄

this study is about some 4 to 6 year olds in Uruguay. we are to build national policy for all schools in the USA based on this? Do we ever look to Uruguay to inform our educational system? Not saying we shouldn't, but have we ever? Even once?

Guess what though. Data, although not perfect, shows in-school masking prevents school closures in @JAMANetworkOpen. Do you want to rethink your school masking stance based on actual data?https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2788457 …

Yet things kept changing so consistency in a time of science being learnt and evolving is disastrous. Nearly 1 mill dead to folk being selfish in a weak and ultimately self destructive manner as well as shittin on their fellow human.
