With choice, should homeschool & private school students have to take the same tests as public school students? If no, why not? #HLR2015

@DrJuneAtkinson Absolutely not. We homeschool not so they are learning on same schedule, but that they are learning to love to learn.

@JenWestmoreland I am with you about the goal of instruction is to help students develop a love for learning, not a test grade

@DrJuneAtkinson No homeschools or private schools or charter schools should not have to take the same tests as public schoolers.

@DrJuneAtkinson Homeschoolers ALREADY outperform public & private school students on public schools' test: the SAT by an avg of 15-30 pts

@lovemytwins1019 @DrJuneAtkinson Maybe Atkinson should worry about their performance before being nosey about nonpublic.

@DrJuneAtkinson No they shouldnt take same tests, or else "choice" is meaningless b/c they must study same material. #ButYouKnowThatAlready

@DrJuneAtkinson NO! Tests are deeply flawed & already compromise the quality of public schools. Cannot properly debate this through tweets.

@DrJuneAtkinson No student should sit through the tests as they are now. Why punish public school kids? Why drive kids away from pub school?
