Social media platforms are protecting men and encouraging male violence whilst consistently silencing and oppressing women’s speech and experiences. The man I called a coward said he would rape me and spit in my face - I got banned, he didn’t
Police dealing with all of the threats and abuse I was sent last month because of the launch of my book are having to literally take out court orders and ask social media companies for data of these men because they are so protected.
I could go on forever. One man printed photos of me off the internet, cut my head off them all and messaged me saying he was jacking off over my headless body pics because my face ruined it for him, he sent me the pics of the cum on the pics. I reported him. Nothing happened.
Dick pics are apparently sound as well. I report those regularly to social media platforms but they don’t care about those. Men sending me messages telling me to Kill myself and all the ways they hope I die are also never banned. But women? Women are banned every day
Women can stand up and speak out about something that they don’t like - or dare talk about male violence and they are shut down so quickly. It disgusts me. How in hell can we address male violence and misogyny if we don’t even have the free speech to do so?
I'm assuming you would also get into trouble if you shared their details/DMs on here so other people could see (and possible verbally abuse too).

I think this is disgusting. I am so sorry you have experienced this. @Twitter you should be ashamed for not acting and protecting the actions of these men. Can’t wait to get your book, and hoping it comes to South Africa. Stay strong and stay true to who you are.
