Kansas lost a true statesman today. Ever since growing up in the Big First and interning in his office, I’ve been inspired by Bob Dole to do more and be better. My thoughts and prayers are with the Dole family and friends at this time. #ksleg

Ruth and I are praying for the family of Rep. Russ Jennings and ask that you please join us in extending our condolences to them during this time. Russ & I enjoyed working on many projects together in the statehouse, primarily on education. He will not be forgotten. #ksleg

To our service members—know that America is rooting for you back home to complete the impossible mission has created. We pray for the ordinary Afghans who risked their lives, fortunes, children, & sacred honor to bring liberty to their home. May they be protected.

The idea of vaccine passports and coercing Americans to get vaccinated is bad policy and un-American. To imply that the government prohibit citizens from going to work or seeing their children and grandchildren because they aren't vaccinated is lunacy.
