Beware of people who tell you to beware of people. They fear you reading the work of people that could cause you to challenge them.
I think there’s a difference to telling people to keep up their guard and interrogating people’s ideas thoroughly vs. telling you straight up not to read the work

Don’t look now Dr. Kendi, but it’s primarily critical theorists following you who are doing the canceling, the book-burning, the deplatforming, etc. it sounds like they—and, by extension, you—don’t want anyone being exposed to ideas that challenge them.
No one should fear reading anyone’s work, but wouldn’t this be circular logic, Dr. Kendi?
His ability to employ circular logic to dizzy his minions with the fervor of awakening is one of his core competencies.
