I found this really interesting but when looking at the areas I'm familiar with, I'm confused as to why there is so much variation. The footprint of more densely populated areas appears smaller. Am I right?

I posted this on a local area Facebook page. According to the map the area isn't doing too well. After a few hours there is a like, a wow and a haha. Maybe this says it all!
