A strong science education in childhood is the best protection against the blind acceptance of pseudoscience as an adult.

These audio clips of Trump are frightening. This man has access to nuclear weapons. Yet his beliefs and thought processes are a disorganized, dumpster fire. Even if one supported his policies, how can one listen and still believe Trump is mentally fit to lead our country?

Sen. Mike Lee comes right out and says that the GOP is opposed to democracy. By "democracy" means all people have a say in government. By "peace" he means order. By "liberty" he means the freedom of [white] men to grab whatever they want. 1/

No more beating around the bush. Coldblooded murderers, rampaging neo-nazis, militia maniacs, and other rightwing domestic terrorists have exploded because trump has spent four years winking, nodding, and tacitly endorsing their extremism. We need to say it out loud.

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows hosted a lavish wedding for his daughter in Atlanta this May, despite a statewide order and city of Atlanta guidelines that banned gatherings of more than 10 people to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

As if America needed more evidence that Trump is incapable of learning and understanding new information.

This is the kind of misunderstanding that happens when the care a physician is attempting to provide strays way outside his/her expertise.

NYTimes confirming what I’ve been telling you for 2 days (them based on 2 sources, mine 1)Trump HASNT been tested daily. That’s why they won’t reveal last negative. He found them uncomfortable, so stopped tests weeks ago. He thought it was safe with everyone else tested instead.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner on CNN just now: “I think Trump is the superspreader” and suggests the reason the White House won’t let CDC do contact tracing is because it may reveal “the president is Patient Zero.”

If it still needs saying: the VP debate must be held remotely. VP Pence can test negative for now but he was exposed. A plexiglass is no panacea to this. (If it has to be held in person, the minimum is both speakers are masked and no audience. But it should be remote.).

I know that this dude is impervious to information. But if Section 230 were repealed, Twitter would be liable for any libelous statements in Trump's tweets, and would almost certainly delete his account.

Since Trump doesn't want us talking about how many White House staff and Secret Service agents he avoidably exposed and continues to expose to COVID, can we go back to discussing how he is actively trying to take away healthcare protections for people w preexisting conditions?

Since Trump doesn't want us talking about how he was experiencing respiratory problems yesterday when he returned to the White House, can we go back to discussing how he pays no income tax?

The FDA had planned tough new standards for a covid vaccine. The White House blocked the plan, citing pharma industry objections, reports. “It’s toast. It’s done,” a senior administration official tells Adam.

I know this is far down the list of things to be angry about today, but... Look at the Secret Service agents's face mask. It's one of those with a one-way valve that protects the wearer, but not others around them. They can't even get right what kind of mask to wear!

I’m getting pretty fucking tired of Republicans saying the President is going to beat COVID because he’s a fighter. 210,000 people didn’t die because they were weak. They died because their government was.
