10) Let’s check in how bad “INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS” in the US… oh… looks like the needs to do her damn job. #BringBackMasks

📍Let this sink in—@CDCgov just had to add a new color (purple) for the newest level of VERY HIGH rates of “influenza-like illness”. And hospitals🏥 are getting fuller with kids… but @CDCDirector says only 2% US should mask—irresponsible. #BringBackMasks cdc.gov/flu/weekly/ind

The French Academy of Medicine may highly recommend things but the actual number of people in France actually wearing masks when out and about is very, very low. I recently attended a two day conference, that’s me, way on the left of the photo, with my 3M N95 Aura on my face.

Elderly and people with comorbities are supposed to one-way mask. Family and healthcare workers: "Wear a mask only if you're around 'vulnerable' and pregnant people." Get your signs ready: V for vulnerable. P for pregnant (as if people know the moment they're pregnant). /1

I am So Happy to see this post ! I’m not gonna pay $20 a month either, so I would leave Twitter. I’m not on Twitter a lot and only follow several people and you are one of them. Thank you for posting this and keeping us up to date with Infectious Diseases.

I wear a N95 in EVERY indoor space except home. I'm one of ~ 3 people a day in this So Cal area I see masking. I don't care. I haven't had it and I cannot bring it home to vulnerable other ... diabetic who has a higher death and complication risk. IT'S A SMALL TASK TO MASK!
