          The CDC, under statutory authority of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, has issued federal quarantine orders to all 195 United States citizens who repatriated to the U.S. on January 29, 2020. The quarantine will last 14 days from when the plane left Wuhan, China.

          The cases outside of China don't seem to be that serious at least not yet. Why do you think that is? Is the health system in China just overwhelmed?

          Exactly if it starts to spread in other countries you will probably see the same thing it seems to be some what manageable with good care but once we hit the limit of how much ppl can be seen it will be like wildfire

          You've been calling it, Dr EF-D. Exponential growth within China is terrifying. The only real chance is that the R0 value is much lower in other countries that only have single and double digit # of patients so far. Local containment at this point is the only hope elsewhere.

          Canada is refusing to even Quarantine or test people being evacuated from China, and is instead spamming media with the suggestion that any action would be racist and based on imaginary risk. How can we make Trudeau listen?
