Absurd that ANYONE w/ contact was not in quarantine as well. I volunteered for Strike Team at work years ago- specially trained for isolation patients w/ SARS, MERS, Ebola- and now, COVID19. The gig comes w/ MANDATORY quarantine for myself if I have positive patient contact.
As I suspected, the 1st “community spread” of #coronavirus in the US arose from infection via workers who were exposed to evacuees with #COVID19.
All because Trump’s @HHSGov didn’t properly train or protect its workers, risking us all.
TOTAL INCOMPETENCE.

Been yelling this all day! RN for 20yrs. Implementing infection precautions & using personal protective equipment is basic knowledge. They were advised by CDC to use PPE & to separate healthy & infected people. They disregarded both. Malicious intent.

Swear to God, this is deliberate. Implementing infection precautions, which include personal protective equipment is as basic as it gets. There is zero possibility this was not known. Zero. They chose to send these people in without PPE.
