My favorite play RII ends with Henry IV vowing to go to the Holy Land, and HV ends with Henry declaring that his son will beard "the Turk," in the Holy Land. What is up with the consolidation of English power through imagined violence against Muslims!?!?! #Shakespeare

And of course it's an act of fratricide, (Richard getting Gaunt to connive to the murder of Woodstock) that opens the tetralogy, and Bolingbroke murders his cousin to become king, so disavowing fratricide at the end makes sense.
