I don’t understand #ATeacher. Are we supposed to find sexual predation attractive when it’s a 30 something white woman and a teenage boy? It’s so disturbing and I struggle to think about how we normalize this kind of abuse of power and ethics in education and academia.
I think the pairing of woman teacher and male student is an interesting choice if the intention was to believe the victim. Young boy in such situations are usually seen as masculine, potent, and virile. A young girl would be accused of scheming and manipulating.

Yes, absolutely. They aren’t showing him as being abused, groomed, and victimized. I’ll be interested if that happens when the POV changes.
