I've been enormously lucky to work with Kathryn Prince over the last three years and have learned so much from her careful work with authors; I'm also pleased to have been able to liaise with her over the summer on several initiatives that she's had in the works. /2

This means I'll be stepping down as performance reviews editor, and I'm thrilled to announce that
@KathrynVSantos is taking over in the role. Katie's a brilliant, incisive reviewer, and I'm so pleased to be handing over to someone with such an ethical, rigorous practice. /36 vastausta 1 uudelleentwiittaus 88 tykkäystäNäytä tämä ketju -
And I'm delighted that
@Dr_Dustagheer is staying on as book reviews editor. We'll be continuing to work with Kathryn over the coming months as we go through the transition to the new editorial team. /41 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 55 tykkäystäNäytä tämä ketju -
Over the summer we've been taking stock following the necessary call-out/call-in by the Race B4 Race collective, and we're renewing our commitment to ensuring the journal is welcoming, transparent, and accountable in its practices. https://medium.com/the-sundial-acmrs/its-time-to-end-the-publishing-gatekeeping-75207525f587 … /5

We're making several concrete changes which I'll be able to detail in due course when the site is updated, designed to ensure and develop best practice in peer reviewing; increase transparency around processes & decisions; and make SB a welcoming, supportive place to publish. /6

As part of this, the journal is committing to publishing the best and most urgent work in early modern performance studies, and to being a proactive, enabling home for emergent subfields and practices, as well as for early career & contingent scholars. /7
