i’m v excited by the first drafts for this volume—20 agenda-setting essays that rethink the binaries that have come to shape the ways we study the shakespearean text: original/copy extant/ephemeral lost/found part/whole paratext/text text/performance &chttps://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/shakespeare-text-9781350128156/ …

thanks! i will address these questions in my introduction & expect some contributors to engage them vis-à-vis the binaries they've chosen to take up—esp since the volume is abt recognizing biases in entrenched methods of reading/editing/&c the material text & offering new ones

also, part of my role as editor is to ensure that this volume does not go to press without addressing these questions, especially (but not least) as they relate to the still-glaring whiteness of book history and editing in our period of study.
