last year 34.4% of our on campus #ASUHumanities majors came from under represented minority groups (Black, Latinx, indigenous)
how do we enable them to build a better future for the humanities, one in which their lives are central, valued?

This is also an vital concern during a time when students from minoritized populations are being steered toward STEM degrees because of “earning potential” and ROI. How do we bring folks into our fields when they might not speak to them on multiple levels?
