Wish I wasn’t. I remember reading the story of the adjunct professor who died (Margaret Mary Vojtko), destitute. Broke my heart and she’s not the only one leading this awful, gig-to-gig life. With no protections or benefits.

You’re right she’s not the only one. I’m infuriated when people suggest we don’t know what it’s like in the real world when so many of us are living one paycheck away from destitution.
