Totally. And sometimes I feel like there’s more room for non practicing non hijabi muslim women. Which is great btw. We need space for wveryonw. But i feel like I’m constantly trying to make space in between -or outside of the rigid boxes- for myself.

Yes the narrative is either the covered Muslim woman or the apostate Muslim woman, the rest of us negotiating in the middle are an invisible majority.
