It’s also interesting how in this neutered marriage, Othello is portrayed as a sexual predator, but isn’t “able” to consummate the marriage. I see it as a way of demonstrating control over Othello. Additionally, thinking about _O_ (2001) really adds to this.

Yes exactly. White supremacy demands that the black man be a dangerous predator and paradoxically unable to be sexually capable. I will have to revisit O.
