Yes. Reminds me of scholars of gender and sex turning only to Galen as if it were the dominant model. It would be super useful to post a mini-bibliography on e.m. race theory here so people know the conversation and where to look!

EM race studies is not new. And Orientalism is from 78. This work has been out there. The lists exist and people still don’t cite those folks. I looked through the bibliography of that entire collection and it was woefully low on POC or em race studies.
