As long as I have. I think frustration is natural but I also think “fair and balanaced” is a myth. As Edward Said taught us, we are all subjects to certain regimes and to pretend otherwise is to create a myth of objectivity.

I agree that fair and balanced is a myth. But that isn't a product of regimes; it's a result of our individual experiences and learned biases of our progenitors. Perhaps I misunderstood your quote.

You did, regimes here means those of race, gender, class, sexuality, all of which inform how our subjectivities are constructed.
