  3. Good question! Basically, a patient meets with an abortion provider via video conference, then medication abortion pills are dispensed via a drawer/nurse/provider/etc. It’s crucial for patients in rural communities or clinics with traveling doctors. More:

  8. We don't have numbers for those who are managing their abortions on their own. They don't want to be studied. My concern is that some people are being forced to take matters into their own hands because they don't have access to a clinic-based service.
