As a scientist, I am in favor of removing the ban on the CDC's ability to study and make recommendations regarding gun violence issues. But as a scientist, I know how long it will take until we have that data. Our kids cannot afford to wait. #GunReformNow #twittercongress

There are many other sensible gun reform measures that can be considered and enacted. But we already have the public support for those I listed, and there is no reason to wait to enact them.
