I will fight every day to make sure we do not return to a system that allows people to be denied coverage due to their health conditions. #WeWon’tGoBack #SinglePayer 2/2

Me too. Americans deserve care. Healthy Americans are stronger citizens.

Agreed! Before
#Obamacare I spent hours on the phone, every week, fighting insurers about covering pre-existing conditions. We need universal health insurance, but it needs to be carefully crafted by experts, not by lawyers over one weekend! -
That’s exactly why I want to get into Congress along with the other doctors who are running this year!

CHIP is a food stamps program, not healthcare, and they are trying to change the chip program to where they send you food, you don't get to go buy it. Medicaid or AllKids would cover the child, usually cover pregnancies as well but that is all changing too.
-
Quick clarification: SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) is food stamps, CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) is health...and both were needlessly used as bargaining chips by the GOP.

Housing, education expenses for child (you buy toilet paper, paper towels, clorox wipes etc.. for the classroom. Finding a Daycare that goes with odd hours or even one you can trust.

Tell her the tax bill that passed will end up gutting the assistance she will need to survive. If she wants to get insurance AFTER having the kid, preexisting conditions are likely coming back and pregnancy is considered one so her premiums would be unnaffordable.
