I had this same infuriating argument with my dad last night. We are not going to "peel votes" from a group of people who either voted for or sat on their hands and let happen a candidate who ran on a platform of ethnic cleansing.

Anyone who is that morally bankrupt is not going to suddenly vote for a Democrat if we sacrifice our values, and we'll lose Democratic-values voters in the process.

Too much leaning will result in falling and the Republicans will just step on you. I think compassion toward the right left a long time ago. Trump has taught them to never admit you're wrong, even when it's obvious you are.
