Gosnell was a murderer. This was already illegal when he did this and he was rightly convicted years ago. There was no need to write a new law that suggests that “abortionists” use this practice routinely. It is pure pandering propaganda that only makes the discussion harder.
It makes the already difficult discussion about post-20 wk abortion near impossible & paints these providers as if they are terminating viable pregnancies. Women who undergo those terminations and their providers already face unwarranted scrutiny. This only makes it worse.

I agree, I am just saying that it is important to also be careful about saying it has never happened. It may seem like we are not addressing the fact that it has happened in the past. Obviously he was prosecuted for his crimes so no additional laws are necessary.

It would be more accurate to say that it's an extremely rare occurance and our existing laws are sufficient to bring those outliers to justice.
