/ This type of lie makes the whole discussion around abortion much more difficult.
/ It feeds the complete fabrication of what the pro-choice movement is about and makes it impossible to find solutions that honor a woman’s bodily autonomy while giving her the tools to plan her family in a way that works best for her.
/ And that’s the worst part about these lies. Because there are many proven ways to reduce abortion. Guess what! I want that too!
/ I want every woman to have access to the tools she needs to prevent unplanned pregnancies. I want every woman to have the support she needs to carry her pregnancies to term. And I want every woman to have access to support for her and the children she gives birth to.
/ And I get so mad when legislators spread these lies, because it makes the conversation that much more difficult.
/ So, as long as legislators keep making this stuff up, I’m going to keep speaking up and fighting back. I will not let this go unchallenged.
