In Washington state at least messing with a campaign sign is a serious crime. And of course that's a hate crime as well. You reported it right?

I am so sorry for this obscene act. Believe it when I say, in California we have experienced and feel your pain. Don't back down. Report it and endure. Put up more signs. That person is a coward. However for your safety, please get a stun gun and pepper spray for safety.
