I have tried to reassure myself that our nation and it's people are strong and that there is nothing that we cannot overcome. But this move by the administration is intensely alarming. Banning scientists from using scientifically correct words is a clear danger to all of us. 2/7

Scientific research MUST be allowed to work in an environment free of censorship. To do otherwise will have implications beyond what we can imagine for generations to come. Combined with the FCC ruling against Net Neutrality, we are in serious danger. 3/7

Imagine a world where your access to scientific data is limited by your internet provider, AND when you could find the data, the information is inaccurate because your government has banned scientists from using correct terminology. We are in danger. 4/7

I implore you to take these threats seriously. Increase your involvement now. Make a plan right away for what you will do to get these people out of office. You will have to move out of your comfort zone, because saving our Democracy is going to be a long, difficult battle. 5/7
