Q #9 Texas, also like Az, loves them some guns. It has to be a tough issue to campaign on, but what are your thoughts on #GunControl?

I have two mothers in my practice who have lost children to gun violence. I carry them with me whenever I am thinking about this issue. 1/

My son had an unsecured gun pointed at his chest at a friend's house. 2/

My kids' school had to go onto lock down when they thought there was an active shooter. 3/

I also own two guns, a 22 and a 12 gauge shot gun. I live in a place where it takes 25+ minutes to get to me if I need help. 4/

So, I'm in favor of background checks, licensing, and registrations, but I do support the individual right to own a gun. 5/

I've been a supporter of Mom's Demand Action for many years. I like their approach to the issue. #
