Starting to unsubscribe from all the political emails I got for donating (250 in 2 days). Just part of the deal, but I will let folks know, those frenetic emails that start with doom, like "I LOST!!!" make me cringe and tighten my purse strings. I expect candidates to offer hope.
We usually hire someone to produce these emails. I was *horrified* by the things my email company wanted me to send. Sooooooo bad.

I guess they must have stats showing how effective messages are, but some are a total turn off!
