NVDA comes with the threat of arrest. There is usually ample warning during NVDA that arrest is imminent, giving protesters time to back down, but that is not guaranteed. If you think you are up for considering this, here are things you can do now to prepare:

1. Identify an emergency contact who will not be a part of the protest and memorize their phone number. 2. Make sure your emergency contact knows what you are planning and when so that they are available to help you.
