Ok, fine. But we need to give money to DOWN BALLOT races too. Winning the presidency is not enough. Please support school board, City Council, judicial, etc candidate as well.https://twitter.com/notcapnamerica/status/1305640847715819522 …

Hmmmm. The candidates I’m working with are barely getting enough to do minimum outreach.

Texas. I’m helping Tiffanie Harrison, running for school board. Tina Steiner and Rachael Jonrowe running for City Council. Anna Smith running for school board. Stan Springerly running for County Attorney. Brian OConnel running for a judgeship among several others.

School board races rarely get that kind of reach. That usually comes from state party candidates.

The State Party in Texas does not financially support municipal races. Individual candidates *sometimes* give personal donations but there is no mechanism for automatic support.

I mea their work. Find local donors and make the case. Mentorship by state party members & local leaders is Joe to make this happen.

That’s quite an assumption you are making that they haven’t done that. I work with a network of women who have been supporting each other as candidates, working on the ground building support, have served as officers in the local party, etc, for *years*.

We have all either run for office ourselves or have worked directly with other candidates. But it takes money to run these races. And it takes the public recognizing that these races are critical to success in redirecting local politics and policy.

Democrats and Democratic donors are really bad at seeing that. Money flows freely to the top of the ticket leaving crumbs for these critical races.
