Hi Adam. I’m not going to get into the complete misconception that I am “for a public option” on healthcare that the Imam campaign falsely promoted during the campaign, but I am going to weigh in on this blocking issue. I have a list of over 60 constituents who

have been blocked, and those are just the ones I know about. These are not trolls as the Imam campaign keeps saying. They are elected Democrats, Democratic candidates, former Democratic candidates, high dollar Democratic donors, founders of activist groups, and

others who have spent years building the foundation that Ms. Imam is standing on. Block walkers, phone bankers, voter registrars. Many of them were blocked before they asked a single question or sent a single message to the campaign. Some simply asked her to hold

a public event, then were blocked. Several have sent very conciliatory emails asking her to engage and were ignored. And her campaign just lumps them all in as “trolls”. She is incredibly disrespectful to the very people she needs to win. She seems to not understand

that she answers to us. That’s the job. Most of the people who have been blocked are very progressive, several are leftists. These are her natural base and she is showing them contempt, by not just blocking and ignoring them, but by spreading the idea that they are trolls.

We have reached out to @AndrewYang @BetoORourke @HumanistReport @EmgageAction and others to help broker a resolution, but Ms. Imam continues to falsely claim that there is no problem and that she is only blocking “trolls’; none of these groups have cared. They too

are ignoring these constituents. So if you want to characterize me as “throwing a hissy fit”, go for it. If holding candidates and elected officials accountable to those they say they want to represent is a “hissy fit”, count me in. I’ve been doing political work

for more than a decade and was a founding member of a local Individible group, where we held those how have power over us accountable. I’m going to continue to do that. I’m going to *demand* that politicians work for us; that they are *asking* for the opportunity to serve;
