...& tests are done in the parking lot to prevent potentially sick people from spreading their germs inside the office. We take everyone’s temps & ask them screening questions when they make the appointment & when they show up. Ask your doctor’s office what they are doing. 3/6

Ask your doctor’s office if you can wait in your car until they are ready for you, then take you directly to an exam room so you can bypass the waiting room.
Ask if they have a side or back entrance you can use to get in and out without encountering other patients.

Ask if they are offering drive-up flu vaccines done in your car.
Ask them what days/times are the slowest at their office; at mine, we only have one physician in the office on Thursday afternoon, so there are FAR fewer patients and staff at that time.

If you use the pharmacy, ask them if they will be offering drive up options.
If you use the pharmacy, avoid high volume times like early and late in the day and lunchtime.
