Well that’s not the same as the “equal power” you claimed in the Tweet I originally responded to. Words matter as does clear communication.

I think you would have preferred that I say, "black representatives" instead of "black people" I get the difference, but I also think my original point can be inferred from the wording.

Ok. What I meant was that it is great the Democratic party has Black people in power and that the # of Black people in power, alongside Latino & Jewish people, makes the coalition different. I'm not sure what else to say.

You could say that you misspoke when you said “equal power”...

But I meant equal power as reps in the government. That's not wrong.
