And I’m always going to side with the voiceless over the powerful. We should all be willing to hold our reps and candidates accountable. @donnaimamTX is showing us what kind of rep she will be. Bad candidates become bad public servants. We have an opportunity to fix this now.

But it won’t happen if we remain silent when those seeking power think that they have no responsibility to answer to us.
@donnaimamTX has an opportunity to reverse course and apologize. She will choose to take it or she won’t. I have no access to her to make that happen.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -
So I’ll continue to use my platform to pressure her to do the right thing.

But if Imam does reach out to you, your supporters need to be ready to not only get in line, but to join the fight enthusiastically. I believe many of us will be counting on you, Christine, to give us the Greenlight when that time comes, and hopefully

There are numerous people who are reaching out to her behind the scenes including high ranking Democrats, starting immediately after the runoff. As of today, she hasn’t even answered their phone calls.

I agree, the ball is in Donna Imam's court, but ... if she makes the smart/right play & addresses Christine's very reasonable concerns, it is incumbent on Christine to pivot her position & let us know that those matters have been addressed & then we need to move on down the road.
