The biggest threat we have to representative Democracy is leaders who think that they are unaccountable to us; who think that they don’t answer to us; who refuse to acknowledge that *they* work for *us*.

jeez... sad that I moved and was no longer able to vote for you in the runoff, but now kinda glad that I don't have such a crummy candidate (although now I live in a lil' gerrymandered arm of TX17 that is hugely R-leaning... I share a rep with College Station and Waco...)
