Having grown up and lived in and around NYC for the first few decades of my life, I can only hope the local businesses will benefit from this new wave of "white flight" from the city without catching COVID and having a second wave of COVID cases.

I also like how the Times is pretending that people of this tax bracket stay in the city in the summer. They don't. They go off to the Hamptons or upstate--watch any episode of Sex & the City that took place in July & August for reference!
