A woman’s ability to access hormonal birth control is none of her employer’s business. The decision to use these medications should only be made between a woman and her doctor. 2/7

Imagine an employer who was anti-vaccine and who believed provision of vaccines through employer-provided insurance went against their moral and religious beliefs. 3/7

Imagine an employer who believes that blood transfusions are morally and ethically wrong, and who refuses to cover them for their employees insurance coverage. 4/7

Medical decisions should never be made based on religious conviction, and those cheering this decision may someday find that their access to necessary medication could hinge on the beliefs of their employers, putting their health at risk. 5/7

And while we are at it: decouple medical insurance from employment. This will improve access for all. 6/7
