Since then, #Juneteenth has been a day where we celebrate this liberation, all while recognizing how much work we still have to do in the fight for racial justice.
This year we’ll also be remembering frmr State Rep. Al Edwards, the reason behind the TX holiday, who passed earlier this year. Happy #juneteenth & stay safe. Many online and in person events are going on this weekend - Social distancing, masks, & safety are always encouraged!pic.twitter.com/SB1TOAl5f8
