It’s just I hear call a lawyer all the time. I’ve never needed one. Haven’t really thought about it. Do you shop around for a good one? Do they have some on hand? If you find yourself in a stressful situation like that, I guess it isn’t simple to figure out.

Frequently protest organizers will have on site information for legal resources. Try contacting the organizer before attending a protest and ask. The ACLU can also direct you to legal resources.
